You can learn the rules by reading a description of a collision that happened in the past and making a guess as to what the lights of the boats could have been. The more correct answers, the more points you will receive.
This app can also be used to cheat a little. Just select the answer that you think is wrong and rotate the boat. It's easy to do, and you will receive a score that will be useful to you in the future.
